Despite the title of this article, this is not centered around weddings or matrimony. Rather, it’s focused on a rerelease, a preorder, a record released within the last few months that is seeing more albums printed, and more. Which, honestly, is a far better investment than a wedding. Because one, vinyl can never cheat on you. Two, you can always sell the vinyl if push comes to shove (if you do that with a partner, that’s considered human trafficking). And three, you can have more than one, without judgment, scrutiny, or again, breaking the law.

Godflesh – Decay
UK industrial metal Godflesh are calling it quits after their forthcoming record, Decay, is out. The announcement was made today, and pre-orders went up today, which technically means you can buy the record. It’s just slightly delayed gratification, or absolute misery as you sit by the window every day waiting for the mailman – because you’re just too fucking excited. The band are sadly calling this their penultimate record due to frontman Justin Broadrick‘s health concerns. So, with the first single released today, I can expect this to be a crowdpleaser amongst the industrial metal crowd.
Rivers Of Nihil – Rivers Of Nihil
American progressive death metal group Rivers Of Nihil have reissued their most recent record Rivers Of Nihil, due to what I can only assume as high demand. After charting on five separate US Billboard Charts – with four of those rankings being within the top 10 –, Blabbermouth gave the album a 9 out of 10, and Loudwire hailed it one of the best progressive metal albums of 2025. So, to say the album was liked is an understatement. And so, the band have given fans another chance at getting their hands on a physical, exclusive variant refined, all encapsulating Rivers Of Nihil record.

Fight From Within – Talk Is Cheap
Upstate New York’s own beatdown metal-hardcore group Fight From Within dropped this beauty last year, a pummeling, relentless beatdown of an LP that is being printed again for that very reason. So, for the fans that like to decompress by having their skin atomized from their faces, this is the record for you. Seismic breakdowns, guttural screams, and a whole lot of breakdowns, there’s a reason someone is having their face rearranged on the cover of the LP. Because that’s what you’ll like like by the time you get to the final track on this record.
No Cure – It Is Going To Get Dark
Released earlier last month, hardcore heavyweights No Cure released an LP that focused on the collapse of humanity around us, this record may be more suited to those feeling particularly down about the state of the world and their place in it. Because, I will admit – it’s fucking grim at times. There’s something that burns within No Cure on this latest release, whether it’s hunger, frustration, or a feeling of someone on the verge of vengeance, there’s something primal about this record.
