It is fitting that the band that shares our name should play possibly the most metal genre of all: Very Basic Thrash. We had already observed this phenomenon in the Australian Metalstorm, rechristened some years ago as Blackhelm, whose own minor lot of recordings falls neatly into the space of “nowhere fast”; it’s nice that we can come to an agreement as to what exactly this name should describe.
