Superheroes arenāt the only ones that can look good displayed on a shelf where you canāt touch them. Musicians can be toys, too! Thatās where KnuckleBonz comes in. They make collectibles, and have a special collection specifically for artists called Rock Iconz. Itās under this series that theyāre releasing a limited-edition, hand-cast and painted figurine of Paul DiāAnno, the late Iron Maiden singer, at 1/9 scale. Spoil alert: it looks freakin cool, too.
The figure was announced in a post on DiāAnnoās social media pages, and reads:
āIn the world of rock memorabilia, KnuckleBonz is an indispensable name. They produce licensed products for rock and heavy metal royalty: AC/DC, Kiss, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Ghost, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Megadeth, Guns āNā Roses, Queen, Pantera, King Diamond, Scorpions, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and many, many others. Their products are officially licensed, and in the case of Paul DiāAnno, his legal heir receives what Paul would have received if he were alive. Their products are so detailed and made with such care that they quickly became world-famous, and every band that values itself wants to be on their list.
āThe people at KnuckleBonz approached us and expressed great respect for Paul and his legacy. He is definitely an icon who deserves this recognition, which is why they have added him to the list of rock icons.ā
Each lil DiāAnno statue comes with its own certificate of authenticity thatās attached to the studded base of the statue. Theyāre available for pre-sale now over at knucklebonz.com.
