It’s been a few years since Korn bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu hopped up on stage with his old bandmates and played some of the band’s songs. Dude’s been on hiatus for a while and there aren’t any signs of him rejoining the fold, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t liable to get down with some folks on stage and slappa da bass, as it were. All you gotta do is check out this footage from this past Friday for proof.
What happened this past Friday, you might be asking if you clicked on this article without reading the headline. Well, Fieldy joined a nu-metal band out in Anaheim called Breaking In A Sequence. They were playing the House of Blues in Anaheim, California when Fieldy joined the band as one of the guests in the show.
During his time on stage, the band played “Clown” from Korn’s 1994 debut self-titled album, “Got The Life” from Korn’s 1998 album Follow The Leader, and “Ground” from (hed)p.e.’s 1997 self-titled album. For that last cover, they also got former (hed)p.e. guitarist Wes Geer up on stage too.
Fieldy left Korn back in 2021, though he apparently hadn’t spoken with anyone in the band since 2019, last we checked.
Footage of Fieldy’s time on stage with Breaking In A Sequence can be found on Instagram. Our embedder is broken at the moment, so you’re gonna want to hit the link to check it out for yourself.
