When I encountered a new one-man project with a monochrome Bandcamp picture, monochrome album covers, and blackened doom and death metal genre tags, my expectations were very much tempered; however, not only did I not expect to come across something as good as Luminous Decay, I certainly did not expect something as beautiful.
