I have always heard of Game Over before on Spotify but didn’t take them seriously until this new 2025 album Face The End entered my ear drums. Hearing songs like “Neck Breaking Dance” definitely gives you that thrash excitement, bringing back memories of when you first heard bands like Exodus or Testament. It’s got great modern production work in this album with outstanding thrash music, feeling like 1985 again.

Yes!!!! I said 1985 because it’s there in this new album Face The End.

This album really caught me by surprised, and I can honestly say it’s the best thrash album to release this year by far (in my opinion), and even the best thrash album I’ve heard at least since Seven Words by Xentrix. Not only the musicianship that stands out in this band; the band bringing in a new sinner by the name Danny has giving them new life. Danny’s voice fits in perfectly in with the band; you don’t hear vocalists like him everyday, and he’s got one of the best voices I have heard in today’s thrash metal scene.

Most modern thrash metal bands tend to bring in death metal vocalists that seriously take the fun out for true thrash metal fans and ruin the genre. Game Over want to do it right by holding up the flag high and doing justice to true-hearted thrash metal fans that have been in love with this genre for a long time.

Albums like this bring in excitement, love, joy, and hope for the thrash metal community. This album is meant for the thrash metal heart that loves this genre and bands like Exodus, Testament and Xentrix. Game Over deserves more than what they deliver in this album. With albums like Face The End, the band shows thrash metal isn’t over yet by a long shot, thanks to Game Over!!!
