This is where the long and crazy journey of Utah-based deathcore band Chelsea Grin began, having formed in 2007. In addition to so many bands who were releasing material in both 2007 and 2008, Chelsea Grin would join the fold and unleash their Chelsea Grin, offering a somewhat fresher approach to the genre. Unlike most of their peers at the time, Chelsea Grin didn’t sport a very death metal-oriented sound, but still managed to be heavy in a way that worked well for them.
