Space truckin’ rock act Clutch are continuing their line of vinyl reissues called the “Clutch Collector’s Series” with the upcoming drop of a new version of Earth Rocker. Released back in 2013 — fuck, has it really been 13 years?! Fuck, I’m getting old — this new version will be pressed onto 12″ vinyl and features a full remaster from producer Machine.
Set for release on June 5, this special version of Earth Rocker is currently available for preorder on a “grape ghost” vinyl colorway. You can check it out in the Instagram post shared below, but it looks sharp as hell, if you ask me.
This version also comes with a die-cut gatefold and a signed and numbered insert. In addition to the reissued vinyl, the band has some similarly themed merch up for grabs on their store.
Featuring some great songs like “Earth Rocker”, “DC Sound Attack”, and “The Wolf Man Kindly Requests…”, this album in particular has been featured quite heavily in their live shows in recent years. Chances are if you’ve seen them since 2013 or are planning on seeing them on their current run with Corrosion of Conformity, you’ve already heard some of these songs.
If you’re considering getting one for yourself (and you should if you’re a Clutch fan), you should ensure you’ll have a copy on its way by preordering yourself a copy today.
