This year’s Sonic Temple Festival is going to bring an insane amount of metal fans out to Columbus, Ohio this May, so there’s probably no better place for bands that aren’t on the lineup to get some kick ass shows in than during that event. Hence why a number of bands have organized some intimate club shows to take place in Columbus during the four-day festival.
From May 14-17, the Sonic Temple Festival will host an assload of killer bands, but there will also be some after shows that attendees can catch all around Columbus. These shows will feature some of metal’s more brutal acts, like Deicide, Rotting Christ, Dying Fetus, and more. It’s kinda like a “yo dawg, I heard you like metal bands playing sets at Sonic Temple Festival, so we put more metal bands playing sets around your Sonic Temple Festival” kinda situation.

People attending this year’s Sonic Temple Festival will get priority access to those shows, according to the festival’s organizers.
