Fans of Arch Enemy hoping for Angela Gossow to fill the void left by Alissa White-Gluz are going to be disappointed by this news, as the former vocalist turned manager took to social media to say sheโs not the bandโs next vocalist.
Rumors began to swirl last week when both Arch Enemy and Gossow posted a cryptic teaser featuring aย hooded figure holding a torch before โ2026โ pops up on the clip. Fans also thought the two were reuniting because both parties had blacked out their profile pictures, making people believe this was a coordinated effort to hint at a potential reunion.
And while folks ate up that potential rumor and reunion, Gossow went online and said definitively that sheโs not the new vocalist.
โItโs not ME! But thank you for all the love! I am really excited to be involved in this new chapter as the manager This is gonna CRUSH!โ
Having remained the bandโs business manager in recent years, Gossowโs uniquely familiar with the goings on in the band. She even gave White-Gluz her approval when the lineup change happened back in 2014.
So now that thatโs out of the way, the band posted another teaser on their Instagram account, this time showing someone reaching to grab a microphone off the floor. Weโll probably know whoโs handling vocal duties for Arch Enemy soon enough. It just very likely wonโt be Gossow.
