Now this is fun, and a little something to brighten up your Sunday. The king of covers Anthony Vincent, who’s been doing a grip of cool shit both as Ten Second Songs and as just himself for a little while now, has done it yet again. One thing he’s quite adept at is transformation without complete erasure, maintaining the essence of part one while paying homage and incorporating the best parts of part two. He’s made magic again with his newest one, the special Halloween treat of Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff,” but fashioned in the heaviest Slipknot style.
Along with the track (which was produced, mixed and mastered by Joey Izzo) Vincent dropped a very fitting and funny video to go along with it. Filmed by Donell Clark, it sees the Slipknot-masked main character getting fucked by everyday life bullshit in an incredibly relatable way. I feel seen.
